Become a Partner Business

At The Core partners your business with a local school in your community. Where appropriate, your company may choose which school or schools you would like to adopt.

At The Core, along with a representative from your business, meets with school administration and staff to introduce the program and determine the estimated number of students who will need support.

At The Core works alongside your leadership team or designated company liaison to inspire financial sponsors and recruit volunteers from within your organization.

Second Harvest procures, divides, and packages each individual food kit per child and boxes the kits (5–6 kits per box).

Your Bite2Go company liaison and volunteer team may choose to either:
– Pick up food kits weekly from Second Harvest
– Or, if your business has adequate and safe storage space, arrange for Second Harvest to deliver a month’s supply of food kits to your office or designated location.

Your company’s volunteer team delivers a week’s worth of food kits to your adopted school.

A school staff member discreetly places each child’s food kit into their backpack on Fridays. Children receiving food remain anonymous to sponsors and to other students.
